IGN EntertainmentXbox 360 Wekeend Warrior: Microsoft`s pre-E3 week attack - a mere prelude of good things to come Microsoft was definitely on a roll the week before E3, coming out with their own 'leaks' and surprises. A new Zune is on the way, as well as a new TV/video service for xbox live. Games galore and teasers more, and frankly, I think we just broke the week-before-drought-curse for E3 this year.Don't take my word for it. Peruse below and see what you missed last week.Gaming:BioShock:Hmmm.. Maybe this will get my mom to play BioShock. Prison Break's Wentworth Miller has dropped a hint that he's working on a new project, in one word: BioShock. LinkOh, BioShock 2's been dated already, by the way. Europe's getting first dibs for a change. LinkPlus (see, there really was a lot of BioShock stuff this week), the Vita Chambers can be shut off, if you may be so suicidal in Rapture. LinkIt's time for another Amazon Gold Box Deal, and this week, we had some major discounts for xbox 360 games. Did you get in on it? LinkKarl called it, and we kinda all knew this was bound to happen. The proud Tom QjTeaser galore: Media Molecule hints at Ico and Yorda on LBP Could it be? Ico and Yorda are headed to the LittleBigPlanet? This teaser image seems to point to that direction. And no, this does not appear to be some mere fancy fan art. See that Media Molecule on the lower right corner? Yep, that's their sig alright. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that they confirmed its theirs themselves, as it was sent via email.Fans of Ico are absolutely over the moon with the prospect, and the timing certainly is suspect, given the recent 'Project Trico' footage that came out a couple of weeks ago. QjE3 2009: Debut trailer for Square Enix`s Nier I had no idea what Nier was when I first read Square Enix's E3 2009 lineup. Now I know a few things about it thanks to this teaser video. Well, three things actually.First, it's the game Square Enix teased in OPM. Second, it's an action game that has a very palpable God of War vibe. Third, you'll be able to use multiple weapons. The trailer shows different swords and an axe, but I don't know yet if they are merely upgrades of the one sword the lead character, Nier, carries in the OPM screenshot.The game's official website also reveals that it's 'set in a crumbling world plagued by disease and dark, unrecognizable creatures'. Nier's a bit of an oddity in Square Enix's predominantly young cast of protagonists, as he's definitely an older dude. He even has a kid afflicted with something called the Black Scrawl virus. This is Nier's primary reason for going all Kratos-like on his enemies as he searches for a cure.Anyway. Enough with the chitchat. Here's the Nier teaser trailer. Only, they're in a place that looks like Vegas, and the zombies are up to a whopping 7,000 in number. And, Michael Jackson isn't here. This is what we're seeing today with this new Dead Rising 2 E3 2009 trailer from Capcom.Unfortunately, the Dead Rising 2 team won't be coming to the event itself, so take this as a loser's pot of some sorts. Feedzilla is a news aggregator which categorizes news stories by topic.
